365photos > January 10th: Cat at dawn

I quite like this one - I love the natural pinks created by the sunrise and the frosting on everything. I like that I sort of caught the next door's cat coming through.

I didn't notice the reflection of the kitchen lights from the window and I didn't really compose it as well as I could have but I'm learning.

Another poor photo today. A crazy day at work, an evening at St. John Ambulance and a headache that won't go away but at least this photo's subject is quite good fun. Another one of my goals this year is to cut our energy needs. The two quickest wins according to our Wattson (which I will probably need to have as a subject one day as it is pretty) is not using the tumble dryer as much and replacing the ceiling lights (two shown here) with LED ones.

Okay, definitely weirdest photo yet! I was trying to get a shot of our 'Wattson' - the energy reader thingy. I couldn't get anything that made it look good and then this one came out by mistake. I kinda like it although obviously, it's all about the texture and colours.
365photos > January 14th: Our roof!

It was difficult to get good light for this - darn the English weather. I'm pleased to grab it as a photo though as this is a shot I won't be able to grab again - it's taken from the top of some scaffolding that we've got up at the moment because we've had our roof redone.
365photos > January 15th: Close up of ornament

Thought I'd start trying to play with the focal length a bit. Think this is a kinda fun shot.
365photos > January 16th: Orson looking cute

...if a little in the wars - combination of tantrums that we don't catch quickly enough and looking at what is in his hands rather than where he's going when he's walking!

I'm very aware of other people getting much much better photos - I really must buckle down and work out how to take good shots. I sometimes wonder what I'm trying to achieve here - we'll see how it goes.
